Gluten Free Snacks – Lifebox

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Gluten Free Hannah.

I wanted to find some snacks that were gluten free and healthy, something that I might not have tried before or that is not readily available in supermarkets.

I decided to trial a subscription to Lifebox. Lifebox is a monthly subscription box that comes packed with snacks, drinks and treats to try. I love the idea of subscription boxes as it gives you the chance to discover new things. I ordered a one-off Travel Lifebox and also the 3-month trial of the Women’s Health Lifebox.

Here are 5 of my favourite products that I have received and tried so far.

1. SPARE FRUIT APPLE CRISPS

Having never tried dried fruit crisps before, I wasn’t sure how these were going to taste. However, I really liked them, they had a sweet taste and were very refreshing, although not as crispy as I imagined them to be. I still really liked them and they are a great alternative to potato crisps.

2. REBEL KITCHEN MATCHA GREEN TEA

This was another interesting product. It was very creamy, milky and refreshing. It contained small chunks of coconut which were really smooth and creamy. The bottle is very transportable and the perfect size for taking out with you. I will definitely be buying more of this type of drink, and what’s more is this one is dairy, gluten and nut free!

3. LOVE, CORN in SMOKED BBQ

These were probably my favourite item so far! Little corn nuggets that were crunchy and full of smokey BBQ flavour! These were very addictive and a perfect size packet for throwing in your bag to enjoy wherever you are. I would love to try this in other flavours too!

4. TANYA’S CHEEZY KALE CHIPS

A bit like the apple crisps, I have never tried kale chips before and so I wasn’t sure what to expect. These were chewier than I had anticipated, but I did quite like the idea of them. I’m also not sure about the cheesy flavour, it was okay at the beginning, however, it started to taste a bit too much after a while. Having said that, I still liked them, but maybe I would go for a plainer flavour if I rebought them.

5. MULU COCONUT CHOCOLATE

This chocolate is the perfect combination of bitter and sweet. It was so smooth and so creamy, it just melted in my mouth perfectly. Absolutely perfect for sweet cravings, I could have eaten another few bars of it! Delicious!
